Club Kids Forever!

I wasn’t a 1990s club kid, but I often journeyed through their strange land. It was intoxicating!

A new book, Club Kids: New York, pays homage to the scene, and I’m happy to report that I’m a contributing photographer.

I’ve known the author, Walt Cassidy, since soon after he arrived in NYC, and I’m thrilled for his literary success. (He went by Walt Paper when he was a club kid.) The book is gorgeous, with tons of documentation and insights about the super-creative subculture, as well as other queer and nightlife stuff from the era.

The book has been getting a ton of great press, and my photos have been included in articles in La Republica, Dazed, the Daily Mail, Them, British Journal of Photography, Metal Magazine, The Sun and Italian Vogue.
